After living and working in North Georgia, Jim joined the family-owned business in January 2009 after reading The total money makeover by Dave Ramsey and seeing Dave live in Atlanta. Jim and his wife Deborah decided get their finances in order and they wanted to help others do the same. What better way then to become a financial advisor.
One of Jim's strengths is to see the potential in people - they are capable of so much more than what they think. Having a financial plan and someone to keep them accountable can completely change a person's life. Thats why Jim and Deborah help lead Financial Peace University on a continual rotation at their church and community.
Jim loves seeing people take control of their money and become financial leaders in their families. He wants to help people improve their financial situations so they can enjoy the fruits of their labor, change their family tree and leave a legacy.
Previously, he worked as a youth pastor and with a private agency as an advocate for adults with developmental disabilities.
He has completed the FINRA investment training program and successfully passed the FINRA securities exam Series 6, 65 & 63. In January 2013, he became president of Fountain Financial.
Jim works with clients on retirement, college planning, mutual funds and advisory investments. He is also insurance licensed and specializes in life, health, auto and homeowners coverage.
Jim is married to Deborah and they are parents to Nora, Harrison, Asher and Neil. Jim enjoys spending time with his family, playing outside in the evenings with his kids and going to Wild Adventures on the weekends.
